From the local train station in Binz you can take a worthwhile visit to the neighbouring resorts of Sellin, Baabe and Göhren or to the classicist principality of Putbus, with its circular park and game reserve.

On a boat trip from the sea jetty in Binz or Sellin you can get to know the famous chalk coast, the lighthouses at Kap Arkona and the harbour town Sassnitz all from the view point of the sea.
