A top class seaside resort
Situated in the wide Baltic bay, the once small fishing village of Binz began to develop into a considerable seaside resort around 1884. Even today the holiday resort is characterised by turn of the century (1800-1900) architecture.
The pedestrian only beach walk by the Baltic, the main street with its cafes, restaurants and shops, and the walk by Schmachter See invite you for a stroll.
An extensive cycle path network, a stretch of the Baltic coastal cycle path along "Park der Sinne" leads you by the hotel and through Granitz forest to the Baltic coastal resorts of Sellin, Baabe and Göhren.
